Please be advised that this Access-based Fine Schedule is a tool for calculating total fine and penalty assessments and is not intended to calculate distribution of amounts received.

Testing of this database has identified circumstances when the database will generate a different amount than a court's certified case management system. Should a variation exist between the amounts calculated in this Access-based Fine Schedule and your certified case management system, the figures generated by the case management system should be used. Courts and counties are responsible for inputting local information and the Administrative Office of the Courts assumes no liability for the failure of this information to be included.

The database currently does not contain all criminal violations and all possible fees and penalties. The long-range plan is to incorporate all fine, fee, and penalty assessment information into the California Case Management System. At this phase, our focus is to provide accurate fine, fee, and penalty assessment data for the most common criminal violations.
