Wylie A. Aitken

Admitted to practice in January 1966, Mr. Aitken began his legal career in Santa Ana, California. In 1978, he founded the Wylie A. Aitken, A Law Corporation, in Santa Ana.

Mr. Aitken has nationally recognized expertise as a trial lawyer in the fields of general personal injury, professional negligence, and product liability. He is also highly respected for his expertise in insurance bad-faith litigation and in the field of commercial torts and punitive damages. From its first edition in 1987 to the present, Mr. Aitken has been named as one of the "best lawyers in America" in the book by the same name, The Best Lawyers in America, and from the inception of The Pre-eminent Lawyers of America, 1994 to date and, was recently recognized by the Daily Journal as one of "The Top 100" most influential lawyers in California.

Mr. Aitken received his Juris Doctor in 1965 at Marquette University where he was a St. Thomas More Scholar. He is past president of the Consumer Attorneys of California (the youngest in its history) and a former board member of ATLA and currently a National Board Member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).
