Understanding the Navigation of the site

Throughout the site, storylines and themes presented in one subject area are reintroduced in other subject areas, thereby expanding on the concepts and showing how law, the application of law, and rights and responsibilities interrelate in our system of democracy.  The navigation allows students to access information in a number of ways so they can experience the site’s interconnectivity; thus, optimizing the learning experience.

For educators, The site navigation combines or "prestacks" modules into overarching themes, such as Censorship and About Judges. These themes are captured in sub-menus under The Big Ideas, Third Branch, and Landmark Cases menu bars. The section summaries better explain how the navigation works.
