§5.06 Accrued Vacation

The right to paid vacation constitutes additional wages for services rendered. Thus vacation pay accrued during marriage is community property that may be converted to present value and divided. [See Marriage of Gonzalez (1985) 168 CA3d 1021, 1024.]
