§8.07 Community Property Payment for Prior Support Obligation

If community property is used to satisfy a child or spousal support obligation from a prior marriage, the community is entitled to reimbursement from the obligor's available separate income, not exceeding the community property so used. This provision only applies if nonexempt separate income of the person was available but was not applied to satisfy the obligation. [FC §915(b).]
