§1.01 What Is Annual Gross Income?

Annual gross income for each parent is “income from whatever source derived,” except for income that is legally exempt from the child support calculation. [FC §4058(a).] Annual gross income includes both mandatory items [see §1.02] and discretionary items [see §1.05] in making your determination.
