§1.14 Income From Gifts or Inheritance

Although proceeds from inheritance and gifts generally are not considered income in calculating child support [see §2.05], you may consider any income generated from the inheritance or gift or their ability to generate income. [See County of Kern v Castle (1999) 75 CA4th 1442, 1453-1454.]
