§6.04 Motion for Judgment on the Pleadings

When the complaint overstates the amount of rent that is due, you may grant judgment on the pleadings on your own motion or the motion of defendant. [See Jayasinghe v Lee (1993) 13 CA4th Supp 33, 36–37.]
