Pamela J. Aguilar

Deputy Clerk, Superior Court of California, County of Contra Costa

Ms. Pamela J. Aguilar has worked for Contra Costa County since 1984; until unification she served in the Walnut Creek-Danville Municipal Court. She was elected to the Executive Board of the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) Local 2700 and has served as president. She was also elected to the Executive Board of AFSCME Council 57, representing approximately 30,000 AFSCME members. Ms. Aguilar has also served AFSCME in various positions, including secretary, member of a bargaining team, vice president, county Labor/Management Committee and Political Action Chair. She was a delegate to the 1996 National Democratic Convention in Chicago and in 1997 was elected president of the Contra Costa Central Labor Council.
