Larry C. Spikes

County Administrative Officer, Kings County

Mr. Larry C. Spikes has held the position of County Administrative Officer, in Kings County since 1993. Previously, he was the Deputy Administrative Officer for the county from 1986 to 1993. Mr. Spikes' experience as a county administrative officer has included working with court officials, including Superior, Municipal, and Justice Court Judges, Court Commissioners, and Executive Officers. In his work in Kings County he has represented the County in salary negotiations with various unions, including represented court employees. He also has supervised the payroll and risk management function for Kings County. Mr. Spikes earned a bachelor's degree in accounting and a master's degree in public administration from the California State University, Fresno.
