Robert J. Straight is a member of the Senior Management Team of the Department of Finance. He has over 25 years of experience in the state's fiscal and management arena and he is currently the Program Budget Manager responsible for overseeing technology review, employee compensation, information systems support, and the department's administrative functions. Mr. Straight's previous assignments have been in the correctional/judicial as well as health and welfare program areas. Prior to his tenure at the Department of Finance worked as an auditor and long-range information technology planner for the California Department of Transportation. He graduated from the California State University system.
